Secure your home and vehicles following burglaries - Harpenden, St Albans and London Colney

We are reminding residents in the St Albans district – especially in Harpenden to secure their property and vehicles after burglaries in the area this weekend. 

Enquiries are ongoing to trace the people responsible.

Please call 999 if you suspect a burglary is in progress and keep an eye on your elderly and vulnerable neighbours. 

Three properties were burgled in #Harpenden yesterday: 

A burglary occurred at an address in West Way between 3.42am and 8.15am yesterday (Saturday 11 October).

An attempted burglary occurred in Manland Way at 8pm yesterday (Sunday 11 October).

A burglary occurred at an address in St James Road between 2am and 7.46am. A Fiat was stolen. 

Please make sure you: 

A Jaguar was stolen from an address in Barnet Road in London Colney at 2.45pm yesterday (Saturday 11 October).

Extra high-visibility patrols and road checks continue to disrupt criminals using main roads into St Albans, Harpenden and London Colney. We are also making use of mobile and static ANPR cameras across the area.
