Secure your home and vehicles following burglaries - Harpenden, St Albans and London Colney |

We are reminding residents in the St Albans district – especially in Harpenden to secure their property and vehicles after burglaries in the area this weekend. Enquiries are ongoing to trace the people responsible. Please call 999 if you suspect a burglary is in progress and keep an eye on your elderly and vulnerable neighbours. Three properties were burgled in #Harpenden yesterday: A burglary occurred at an address in West Way between 3.42am and 8.15am yesterday (Saturday 11 October). An attempted burglary occurred in Manland Way at 8pm yesterday (Sunday 11 October). A burglary occurred at an address in St James Road between 2am and 7.46am. A Fiat was stolen. Please make sure you:
A Jaguar was stolen from an address in Barnet Road in London Colney at 2.45pm yesterday (Saturday 11 October).
To help prevent thefts of vehicles, remember to: Extra high-visibility patrols and road checks continue to disrupt criminals using main roads into St Albans, Harpenden and London Colney.
